Chamomile tea is a gentle, soothing tea which can help relieve insomnia and stomach ailments.
Traditionally it has been used as a tea to soothe small children - but adults can benefit too from this gentle tea.
Make it a habit to have a cup of this tea before bedtime as it works best when drunk regularly.
To use: The tea is packaged loose, so to make a cup of tea, place about half a teaspoon of the chamomile in a cup of boiling water. Allow to steep for 3 -5 minutes, strain and sip. The tea is a golden yellow colour. It you prefer a sweeter taste, try adding a little raw honey to the tea, although this herb has a naturally sweet flavour.
